They have also gained access into top international universities as well as obtained outstanding scholarship and awards.

UOW Malaysia KDU offers students the opportunity to take the Cambridge A Level Course in Penang, Malaysia through our Penang Campus. Based on the University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) syllabus, the A-Levels is one of the most sought after and common foundation programmes. The programme functions as an entry pass for students to further their studies into the various undergraduate fields such as engineering, health science, law and more.

Strong fundamental knowledge is important regardless of what field you choose to pursue in the future. The Cambridge A-Levels programme is designed to equip students with the basic foundation required to further their undergraduate studies. By prepping them with the basic knowledge and skills, students will be well-equipped to undertake future programmes. As our students explore subjects in greater depth, they will be able to develop essential cognitive and critical thinking skills while learning how to apply these acquired skills in real-world situations. All these make sure that students are ready to further their studies into the various undergraduate fields available.

At UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College, we offer more than just a learning opportunity. Our Cambridge A Level Course in Penang, Malaysia develops students who are confident, responsible, innovative and engaged. These are necessary soft skills that will be invaluable in the modern working world. Our A-Levels graduates have been accepted at some of the world’s top universities such as the University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University of London, University of Manchester and more.

The 18-month long programme offers courses in both Science, Arts and Pre-Law. Students are given the choice of selecting their own preferred subjects based on available subject combinations. There will be three intakes annually – January, March and June.

UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College for Pre-University Studies offers two major university-preparatory programmes for students who are seeking to pursue their bachelor degrees directly after SPM or O-Levels.


Programme 1: Cambridge GCE Advanced Level
The Cambridge International Examinations A-Level programme is a much sought after course for its worldwide recognition and intellectual rigour. It is a gateway to many university courses and professional certification.
