MAPCU Sport Carnival 2019: UOW Malaysia KDU Dodgeball during team talk.

MAPCU Sport Carnival: Harvey, 1^st Runner-up in 200 Metre category (Male) with timing 23.15 seconds.

Organised by Malaysian Association of Private Colleges and Universities (MAPCU) the sports carnival which lasted three weeks from 29^th September to 13th October 2019 aimed to stir up energy and team spirit in sports among students from other universities, while also promoting healthy living.

Before the tournament, all team UOW Malaysia KDU had been prepared, by having an intensive training to make themselves ready to play for the MAPCU Sport Carnival 2019.

It was a challenging game for team OUW KDU Malaysia. OUW KDU Malaysia vs Linton University College and University of Nottingham Malaysia for Netball match. Team KDU vs Taylor’s University, University of Nottingham Malaysia and Quest International University for Futsal match.

Participants showed their enthusiasm and gave their full support by participating in each sport event. Many students were present during competitions, cheering and giving moral support to team mates.

In addition, for dodgeball match UOW Malaysia KDU vs INTI International College Subang and UCSI University. For 3 on 3 basketball match, UOW KDU Malaysia vs Sunway University and First City University College.

On the other hand, table tennis game, Team UOW Malaysia KDU faced First City University College and Tun Abdul Razak University College in group stage, while for athletics Team UOW Malaysia KDU has participated in 100M (Male), 200M (Male), 400m (Male), relay 4x100M (Male) and Long jump (Male).

For overall achievement, Team UOW Malaysia KDU won 1^st Runner-up and 2^nd Runner-up in 100M (Male) with recorded timing 11.24 seconds and 200M (Male) with timing 23.15 seconds. It was indeed a great experience and opportunity for Team UOW Malaysia KDU to join the MAPCU Sports Carnival 2019.
